Plunge into the captivating world of magic! Make delicious potions with Rainbow spray and Vampire fangs and serve them to fantastic clients. Decorate glasses with wild lotuses and Phoenix feathers. Witness your amazing potions endow incredible power, reverse aging and help get to the secrets of the Universe. Travel world and space, see prophetic dreams and solve the enigmatic mystery in Potion Bar, a fun and exciting Time Management game!
Gameplay
Players use the mouse to mix potion drinks for the customers, but here’s the catch: you must make it while it’s on the stove – leave it long enough and it’ll BURN! While it’s rather standard time management fare, the threat of burning drinks does keep one on ones toes
Story
Bartender goes missing, and you take his place. Meanwhile, various factions are implicated in the disappearance and hints at something more sinister. I love the black Cat btw. His dialogues with the character keeps us focused on the story and asking for more.
Audio
Done all right. I like some of the tunes, and they lend a nice atmosphere.
Art
Both characters and backgrounds are very beautifully drawn. The atmosphere with rich colours make for a game that’s very pleasing to the eye.
Synergy
Very interesting game! Even though there’s nothing really new in time management games, this one has its other aspects make up for it. First hour trial definitely went by too fast. Must try!

Fiona is trying to forget her past by totally immersing herself in the world of gardening. Fiona is out to win the Finest Flowers competition and needs your help! Travel to Fiona’s home town of Beeville, and dive into the fiery competition in this fast-paced Time Management game. Grow gorgeous geraniums, terrific tulips, vibrant violets, and walk away with the grand prize in Fiona Finch and the Finest Flowers!
Gameplay
It’s rather like a mix between Ranch Rush and Magic Seeds. Grow flowers, crossbreed, and complete optional side orders.
Story
Not really sure. It’s only a little bit, and by the look of things, not going anywhere except to win a competition already declared won at the beginning of the game.
Audio
Nice and garden-y, I think. Still, it could use some upbeat in them
Art
Quite prettily done, even though the comic art doesn’t match the gameplay’s, and it takes up a whole lot of hard disk space XD
Synergy
The gameplay time for each level too long without interesting interruptions. Has a “been there, done that” feel. Got kinda boring in the end.

Alice has once again fallen down the rabbit hole, landing in a nonsensical yet familiar world of wonder. Equipped with only her determination and a knack for delivering impeccable tea service, Alice must earn her ticket home by prepping and serving tea and pastries to whimsical and sometimes demanding characters in various tea shops across the land. Dive into Alice’s Tea Cup Madness for some Time Management fun!
Gameplay
Like any other time management game. A clickfest. With some hidden object and catch the dropping food mini-games mixed in, but nothing new, really. It also has the traits in the Diner Dash series that I dislike, but I guess that’s just me.
Story
Mostly ripped off Alice In Wonderland, but with little twists to incorporate the existance of tea shops. Even the characters are based off theirs. And it’s not enough to keep players hooked.
Audio
Fairly OK, I guess. It makes up a little for the blandness of the other parts of the game.
Art
Very brightly drawn, but the similarities to the characters in Alice In Wonderland makes me wonder if any copyright infringement might be involved? I guess Playfirst would know better than me, as official publisher.
Synergy
Nah, can’t even make it past the one-hour trial. Definitely not for me. If you like Diner Dash though, try out the first hour before committing to the purchase.

Can John Wizard save christmas before it’s too late? He’ll need help from his friends from Dawn’s Light!
Dawn’s Light: A Christmas Tale is a new mini adventure starring your favourite characters from Dawn’s Light. Catching squirrels, matching couples, dealing with oversensitive horses. It’s all in a days work for John Wizard.
Gameplay
An RPG-lookalike without the RPGness (e.g. battle, purchases etc), players nevertheless gets a real feel about the challenges of RPG characters. Well, a small bit anyway, when the REAL RPG characters whine about not having enough skills and demand this or that XD There are tons of puzzles to solve though, and that keeps the players right on their toes, and sometimes on their brains, cause while some of them are kinda boring after awhile (been there, done that, approaching retirement age), some are fresh and new and challenging enough to exercise our brains. The one thing I didn’t like is that the game lags when the maps are made too big. I always felt like banging my head against the wall whenever I had to walk through John’s hometown where the Christmas tree is.
Story
Standard RPG fare, if not for the breaking of the sixth wall (i.e. letting characters communicate with their creator. Even without playing Dawn’s Light and understanding all the little in-jokes that are undoubtedly littered around, I was able to feel included and laughed right along with some wonderfully humourous jokes as well. The by-play between the characters, and they with John Wizard is epicly awesome. But of course, John is lucky that he isn’t suicidal by the end of their little adventure/whine trip. I know I would be XD
Audio
Me likey! They’re certainly suited to each of their individual areas, and lends much of the Christmas atmosphere to the gamers. I especially like the track at Spiral Mountain. I wonder who made that?
Art
I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent map-making skills of the developer. The result was very pleasing to the eye, and lets the players play with greater enjoyment. And I just about died laughing when I saw that little hat canoe. A great new twist on transportation indeed!
Synergy
For a freeware game, Dawn’s Light: A Christmas Tale is wonderfully built, blending the elements beautifully to create a seasonal game. Perhaps not so much for the RPG audience, unless you’re a player of Dawn’s Light as well. But for the sirius puzzle-solvers, this game is a must-play!
